The current header is a shot I took of one of shrines in Nikko, Japan, a World Heritage site.

This was the view from my front porch a few weeks ago.

These are the Cheviot Hills in northern England. If you turn 180 degrees, you had a view of the North Sea. The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland, close to the English/Scottish border.

Blooming rape fields in the Burgundy area of France

Husband took this picture in April, 2007, when we were traveling through the Burgundy region of France. The yellow are blooms of the rape plant–used to make canola oil.
